SEA SALT BUTTERSCOTCH PRETZEL COOKIES

You simply can't go wrong with a cookie! And when you add in a dash of sea salt and gooey butterscotch, it just makes it that much better! This recipe is pretty simple and easy to make. And the baking aromas will fill your home with all the Fall vibes! Get the recipe here.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 1/2 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chips

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pretzels

  • optional – flaked sea salt


APPLE CRISP BARS

There's something about apples that are just delicious when Fall rolls around. Apple pie, apple crumble, and now apple crisp bars! These are delicious to eat and easy to grab while on-the-go for a sweet treat. Check out the recipe here

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats

  • 1/2 cup plus 2 1/2 tablespoons flour, divided

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, divided

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves, divided

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Scant 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 6 cups peeled and thinly sliced Granny Smith apples (about 3 large apples)

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


PUMPKIN CHEESE CREAM MUFFINS

Need I say more? Some of my favorite pumpkin cream cheese muffins are at Starbucks. So I thought... why not try making these at home? And here's the final verdict - I think they're even better! Get the full recipe here

INGREDIENTS

For the filling

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

For the muffins

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 2 cups pumpkin puree (or a 15 oz can will work fine)

  • 1 and 1/4 cups vegetable oil

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves

  • 4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

For the crumb topping

  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into pieces
